I have been nannying families for the past five years and currently I work at a daycare. I work between the infant, one-year-old, and two-year-old rooms. I am first aid, CRP, and AED certified. Most of all I love children and kids love me. I am great at organizing activities, playing outside, coloring, and for older children, I am fun loving and often become one of their friends. Nanny Seeking ~ I am 33 years old and haven been taking care of and raising children for twenty one years. While in high school I worked at two daycare centers and the downtown YMCA after school program. After graduating I went to school for Correctional and Police Sciences. I then took over the role of raising my nephews, ran a business with my Mother and took care of my elderly Grandparents. At this point in my life I realized caring for others and enriching their lives would better serve my talents and complete and enrich my life as well. I am very hands on with children, I do not believe they should be sitting in front of a television or playing computer games all day long. They need to be creative whether coloring, painting or putting puzzles together. Also arts and crafts, from making Christmas ornaments to baking cupcakes to dying Easter eggs. Children should explore and use their imaginations as much as possible. Playing outside, taking walks and learning about nature. I will take them to the Zoo, Story Time at the Library, the Wildlife Sanctuary, Bay Beach, the Botanical Garden, parks, swimming things that are fun, educational and interesting! I also will participate in music, gym and tumbling classes, swimming lessons etc., what ever they are involved in. I am very family oriented and have strong values and beliefs. I am very responsible and dependable. I was with my previous family for five years and my current family for two years and they definitely are family to me. I participate in all aspects of their lives, from school functions to holidays. I am certified in adult, child and infant CPR, choking, AED and First Aid through the American Red Cross.
