Virginia ~ Vienna area Live-In Nanny ~ Vienna, Virginia Nanny Seeking ~ I have been a nanny for 15 years, more than 10 as a live-in. I have experience with children of all ages as well as children with disabilities (Autism, ADHD, ODD, & OCD). I want a family that I can partner with, working together with only one goal in mind: the care and development of your child/children. I recognize each child has unique talents, learning styles and personalities. I am dedicated to providing a safe, consistent and nurturing environment, working within each child's comfort zone, helping to ensure optimal social, emotional and educational results. I know the importance of having good communication with the family to report all events, activities and issues. I began working as a live-in nanny for a family with a 2, 8 and 10 year old. I also worked as a live-in nanny for a family with a 3 and 6 year old. I went on to work with older children, also as a live-in, supervising a 12 and a 14 year old. Over the next few years while spending some quality time and helping with my father I also worked part time with a single parent (at times as a "shared nanny"), providing comfort and support to two children, 8 and 10, in their home when they came home from school. I am currently working as a live-in. When I started here the children were 20 months, 3 and 8. I have limited experience with newborns. I have babysat occasionally for several families with infants, but never as a regular position. I am comfortable feeding, diapering, caring for, and entertaining babies and would be quick to learn finer points of responding to their needs. I am caring, loving, attentive, energetic and patient. I am also responsible, motivated and a hard worker. I love exploring what goes on in children and how I can best bring out and support their unique skills and abilities. I have lots of experience cooking and cleaning up after children as well as doing their laundry and supervising and helping with homework. I do have a current driver's license and would be available to help with driving, appointments, shopping, and errands. I have good references from the families I have worked with. I am CPR and first aid certified. I would like to find a live-in position but will be willing to consider a live-out.
