Nanny Seeking ~ I am an experienced nanny looking for a part-time or full-time position in the Manchester, VT area. I have experience working with newborns, multiples and special needs children. I have worked with large groups of children in school settings and up to 5 children under 3 in nanny situations. I have a degree in elementary education summa cum laude. My references are long-term and local Manchester residents. I have taken a course in infant, child and adult CPR and AED for professional rescuers. I also have knowledge of basic baby signing. In addition I can provide educational support and homework help/tutoring at no additional cost. I love working with children and planning fun activities for them. We often visit parks, libraries and take nature walks to catch frogs and salamanders. We also enjoy acting out stories and doing lots of crafts and kid-friendly cooking projects. Some favorites are making homemade playdoh, slime, and decorations for holidays. Instrumental music lessons are another activity that we try to incorporate daily. My rates begin at $13 per hour for full-time 40 hour per week positions. For part-time positions with a 4 hour minimum and evening babysitting my rate begins at $15 per hour. These rates are for up to 3 children from the same family. Nanny shares can be worked out as well. Generally my rate for a nanny share is $20 per hour for up to 4 children from two or more families. Nanny Seeking ~ Hello-My name is Beth. I have been working with children for about 15 years in various settings (summer camps, music lessons, tutoring, babysitting, etc). I have been a lead teacher for 6 years in private and public Montessori schools and am currently completing my Masters in Early Childhood Education from Cambridge College in Massachusetts. A bit about me as a person: I have a lot of energy and love outdoor activities--running, hiking, skiing, biking, swimming, yoga. I am interested in nutrition, I love music (I play a few instruments and really enjoy live music). I love spending time with friends and family. When I teach in the classroom setting, I cater my lessons to each child's needs and interests and would do the same in a nannying position.
