Nanny Needed ~ My wife and I are looking for a nanny with some medical experience. We have a 7 month old son who has Stickler's Syndrome. He is a happy baby and mostly healthy except we have to feed him through an NG tube (nasogastric), and we give him breathing treatments with a nebulizer, and we suction him as needed. Sometimes he pulls out the tube so we have to reinsert the tube, which is a delicate procedure. Sometimes he refluxes (GERD) so we need to keep him upright after feeding him. He also wears hearing aids and glasses whenever possible. He usually has many doctor appointments throughout the week. We need someone who can assist with feeding, suctioning, nebulizing, and, if needed, re-inserting the NG tube. We also need someone who can supervise him while my wife schedules his medical appointments and other issues regarding his care. My wife can also use help while she is taking him to these appointments. We can also use help with light housekeeping like sanitizing the toys and play area, restocking his supplies, loading and unloading the dishwasher or shopping bags, and mopping the floors. Light housekeeping while children are not present. I will pick-up from school and transport to extra-curricular activities then help with homework, snack and prepare for dinner/bedtime.
