While I only cared for them one or two days a week, they were a constant part of my life as I went to birthday parties, doctor appointments, and school outings with them just for fun! Their family has moved to a different country, but we still keep in touch every week. For six months in 2005, I cared for ten children (ages 2 and 13 years) through the foster care system. This experience has prepared me for almost anything, I feel. I am also a certified clinical associate (a nurses assistant) and have worked in an infant and toddler unit in MUSCs Children's Hospital. I am also fluent in Spanish and have experience introducing young English speaking children to a new language. All this to say, I love children and am excited to see if I am a good fit for your family. I prefer to care for several (3 or more) children at a time, but less is fine as well. If you have friends, though, who also need a nanny, I could watch their children one or more days a week.
