Nanny Seeking ~ Hello, my name is Mariah and I am certified in CPR/First Aid, I passed the Nanny Skills Exam and I love kids! I am mom-approved and I am not a TV sitter; I will involve your children in age-appropriate activities.I was a full-time nanny for a family with 3 school-aged boys in Fargo last summer. I transported them to and from their activities, we played a lot of sports, and we went on various "field trips" to places like Yunker Farm, the Red River Zoo, the library, etc. I don't think we spent more than a couple of non-consecutive hours a week inside the house. I am an active outdoors person who loves to play all kinds of sports (volleyball, tennis, golf, basketball, Frisbee golf, soccer, softball, football, etc.) and I love to play sports with the children in my care. Sometimes I teach them simple dance moves from a musical I've been in like Singin' in the Rain or All Shook Up; it depends on their interests.In the past, I have taken children to places like Lindenwood, the zoo, the library, the apple orchard, the YMCA, Yunker Farm, Trollwood, Island Park, FMCT, and Thunder Road. We have volunteered, baked goodies, put on plays, played sports, sung songs, and painted a picture or two. I am also responsible and mature for my age (4. 0 GPA, National Honor Society member, national honor choir participant and started own L. L. C. business). I am Red Cross CPR/First Aid certified, I have 6 years of experience and I have experience with ages 3 months to 13 years. I offer childcare for the PTO and the Women of Today and I have been a youth golf instructor for the past 4 years. I usually charge $7 to $10/hour, depending on the age(s) of the children in my care, the duties and travel involved and the number of hours (more per hour for less hours and less per hour for more hours).
