I have cared for children since I was 13 years old. I have cared for all different age groups. I am a very loving and caring person.I am very kind and funny and love being around kids. I have assisted my aunt in her home daycare for 3 years from about 7am-6pm each weekday. I love kids and enjoy being around them. I have cared for two autistic children before as well. They were brother and sister Xavier and Danica. When Xavier was diagnosed with autism at 2 years old, it was heartbreaking to see his mom go through everything she had to go through. But I stuck with them and helped the family out as much as I could. I went to therapy appointments and doctors appointments with them as well. So I know what it takes to care for children with autism as well as other disorders. Then, Danica was diagnosed at age 3 with autism. But, we knew what to expect and again I stuck with the family through it all. Caring for Xavier and Danica made me love children. Being able to help a family out that needed me was an amazing feeling. I have my own car and I like to take children to the park or to museums or aquariums. As long as it is ok with the parents, of course, I like to plan days where me and the children I am caring for can have a fun day. Whether that means staying at home and playing games or going somewhere fun and having a fun experience as well as learning. I am available everyday of the week except for Sundays and major holidays unless it is an emergency and you need me for a holiday. I am available any hours as well. I am available for overnights as well. My rates depend on the number and age of children you need cared for. For one child I charge around 8-10$ an hour depending on the age of the child and for more than one child I usually add about 3-5$ extra.
