Nanny Seeking ~ I've always had a passion for helping kids grow and learn. I have a lot of experience, especially with infants and young children, and I would love to help your family out! I am currently a nanny for three little girls in Texas, but I'm moving to Independence in late December and am looking for another family to love and grow with.I am the second oldest of six kids and was often the one raising my younger siblings. So let me tell you a little bit about my experience!! I currently nanny for a family of 6(until Aug. 7th, 2009). There are 3 boys, ages 7, 5, 4, and a little girl at 16 months. I started a year ago and am still working for them. They live in Council Bluffs, Iowa, which is where I am from. However, I moved to Liberty, Mo about 3 weeks ago and travel each week to help the family out. I used to work full time, Monday-Friday, from 7-6. I gave her a month notice but she asked me to stay Tuesday- Thursday to help her out because her husband is away on business for 10 weeks and she has classes on Thursdays. So I still go each week for 3 or 4 days and help them out. I did heavy housework, such as, laundry for all, dishes, sweeping and mopping, dusting, vaccuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and cleaning kids rooms. I also take the kids to all of their activities such as soccer, swimming, and tutoring, etc. I run errands for the family such as grocery shopping. I absolutely adore the kids and it will be hard for me to go, but it was time for me to. If you have any questions regaurding my decision on leaving, no problem, I will tell you. Before I nannied in Council Bluffs I was a live-in nanny in Denver, CO. I watched two little girls ages 4 and 1. I worked everyday except Tuesday and Thursdays but even then I would end of working one of my days off. I usually worked anywhere from 70-80 hours each week. I did light housework because the mother hired maids, cooks, grocery shoppers, etc. There was also a night nanny so when I got off she would be there from about 10pm-6am when I started again. The father is the CEO of dish network and the mother did not work. I absolutely fell in love with the girls I watched. They were the most darling things and I was so happy to care of them.
