Nanny Seeking ~ Hi! I am a mom of a preschool aged child. She will be going to kindergarten in 2010. I have been taking with her on nanny positions since she was an infant. She is outgoing and friendly, and loves to do many activites. I have 3 families that I have worked for in the last 5 years-2 of which I worked for over 3 years each. These families would have nothing but stellar things to say about me! My expertise lies in infants-kindergarten age. I am bubbly, fun, creative, yet I know when to put my foot down. I am very comfortable with different types of personalities and I am able to work with up to 2 children besides my child. I do like to take the children to storytimes, kids concerts, playdates, etc. Though I do not plan on doing so all of the time, I do think that it is important to expose children to all of the wonderful activities that this area has to offer. Every neigborhood seems to have its own set of activities without having to travel all the way to DC. I can assure you that with my maturity and experience, that your child will be well taken care of and more fulfilled than in an overcrowded daycare program. I am able to teach age apropriate skills be it educational, social, or personal (shoe tying, potty training,etc.). I would love to work with your family! I prefer to work with people that make at least 1 year commitment for job stability, and for the fact that I like to develop a relationship with the family, not just hop from family to family.
