Nanny Seeking ~ We are looking for a toddler to pre-school aged child to join our Nanny-Share in the Columbia Heights neighborhood of NW DC. This child would preferably be 12 months - 4 years old. We are currently hosting the share in our home just 2 blocks south of the Georgia Ave./ Petworth metro station. Our nanny has been with us for over 2 years of our 3 year old daughters life. In addition to daily care, children in the share will be taking part in a 3 day a week home-based pre-school group where our Nanny and another parent will use early childhood curriculum to give the 3-4 year old children an opportunity to have one on one care, early childhood education and small group socialization. The younger children under age 3 can participate in a regular playgroup during class time. The current hours for the Nanny-Share are 8:30am- 2:30pm M-F with the possibility of the day ending as late as 5 or 6pm as needed by parents.
