Nanny Seeking ~ Hi, my name is Mikayla and I'm just starting out my first year at UVA. I'm looking for an opportunity to work as a babysitter or nanny this school year. I absolutely love working with kids and have a lot of experience doing so. I come from a family of four, with two of my siblings younger than me, and began babysitting them when I was 14. After starting out with my own siblings I moved on to babysit for neighbors and family friends. I absolutely love to be around kids. I spent a good portion of my senior year of high school working in a fifth grade elementary class and I just spent this past summer working at a family camp. At this camp I helped lead a preschool class every week day morning and interacted with the kids of other age groups throughout the day. As I also worked as a lifeguard at this camp I am CPR and first aid certified. As a first year I do not have a vehicle, so if you are not within walking distance from the grounds of UVA I would need transportation.
