I felt like working and I wanted a job, so I made flyers on my computer, printed them out, and went door to door passing out my babysitting flyers. I got many jobs babysitting doing that, and kept at it for years. One family in particular I watched there kids grow up for 4 years, babysitting them. They loved me and I loved them like my own kids. Senior year when I was 18, I got a job at the JCAA ( Jewish Community Association of Austin) as the babysitter there, watching members kids (ages 6 months to 6 years) while they worked out, went to classes, synagogue, etc. I loved that job as well and worked there for months. But all in all, I have been babysitting and working with kids for 5 years and there isn't anything I would rather be doing than that. I am very interested in getting a job!
