Nanny Seeking ~ I am a graduate student in creative writing, and thus I have a very flexible schedule. I can work 3-4 weekdays per week, ideally 15-25 hours per week, but those days and hours are up to you. I have 4 years of professional experience working with kids in schools, afterschool programs, and camps, ages 3-18. I also have experience with younger children within my family. While much of my work has been with kids aged 7-12, I love the little ones and am comfortable with all ages. I love to read to kids, or help them with their reading. I am great at helping with homework, and I also have writing, storytelling, and acting exercises that are lots of fun. I do not believe in raising my voice or provoking a child in any manner. To me, while guidelines, limits and discipline are necessary, there's a gentle, positive way to initiate it.
